BE STRONG, DON’T FEAR

Say to those who are fearful-hearted,“Be strong, do not fear! Behold, your God will come with vengeance,
With the recompense of God;
He will come and save you. Isaiah 35:4 (NKJV)

God is talking to us in a time like this when our hearts 💓 are fearful. He saying be strong and not fear. The fear is as a result of the happenings around the world today about the COVID-19 a virus that started in Wuhan China and is today revaging the world. First world countries like Italy, Spain and even the USA are recording deaths in thousands. These are countries with high level of technology now calling for help.

Help looks far away and people heart becomes fearful being anxious for the future. When we look at man at this moment our heart must fail us. This is war but it’s not physical war, all the nuclear weapons and arms of the greatest countries is useless. Money is almost useless, if you have a private plane you can’t fly it. Nowhere to hide just because of a tiny virus that we can’t see with our eyes. This an invisible war.

God has not left us without comfort in a time like this. He is speaking to us not to fear, that we should be strong. “Say to those who are fearful-hearted,“Be strong, do not fear! Behold, your God will come …He will come and save you. Isaiah 35:4 . Our God knows and is coming to save us from this wicked disease. He is coming and we must be strong in prayers, be strong in the word, be strong in our faith.

In almost all countries, places of worship are being closed, that’s is where we meet to encourage one another. Regardless of that, we are a spiritual body, we are not tight to a building and therefore our destiny cannot be determined by a physical structure. We must remind strong, we must encourage one another.

When we look out to government and media, we will be discouraged, when we look within we will be depressed but when we look to God we shall be strong and be able to wait for our king who will be manifesting his power to save us from this wicked disease. For by his stripe, we were healed.
