FURTHER ATTACK AND KILLINGS IN BOKKOS BY SUSPECTED

3rd September 2024, 7 people were attack in Daffo Town. Six killed, one in the Hospital.

It is really dishearten that the attacks on farmland, Kidnappings and killings have not stop in Bokkos. You will recall the attack on Christmas Eve in Bokkos of 2023 where over 300 people were killed, over 30 villages attack and thousands of people sacked from their homes.

It is sad to tell you that the attacked continued with Kidnapping, deliberate mischief of farmland; the fulanis deliberately grazing on people’s farmland. The report is that hundreds of farmlands have been destroyed across the local government. Few that were caught were force to compensate to the farmers, many were not caught because they sent cows into people’s farms at night.

Killings: Within the last one week more that 15 people were killed.

 In Mandar ward

30^th Aug two persons were killed, one kidnapped and later found death making three. This is in Nghasi of Mandar ward, Butura District

Kwatas Ward

3^rd Sept- a village Zarat was attacked and two young men were killed.

In in Just one week atleast 15 people were killed with some in hospital with different degree of injuries.

It’s of note that the incident at Daffo that killed 6 people happened on the 3^rd of September happened in a bar that is less than 300 meters away from the STF post in the village.

As of Yesterday 4^th Sept 2024 there are reports of influx of cows and herders in their thousands into Bokkos.

The threat is that our people will not harvest their crops.
